Hi everyone,
two news for this week-end :
- GNOME 3.0.1 is now available for openSUSE 11.4, in GNOME:STABLE:3.0 repository. See http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:GNOME_3.0 on how to use this repository.
- Live image has been regenerated to use GNOME 3.0.1. It is available at http://www.gnome.org/getting-gnome/ (version 1.2.0)
Enjoy !
Hello!
ReplyDeleteGood job with this release. It's wonderful!
I'm in love with Gnome 3. I can't use another desktop but I just would like to change GDM's default backgroud. How can I do it?
Good bye!
Hi Frederic, great job! I recommend everybody to use your Gnome Live DVD. Now just few remarks.
ReplyDelete+ Great software selection!
+ everything works flawlessly
- codecs autoinstallation doesn't work
- lots of unuseful automatic downloads at first update..
- size to big: drop all -lang and -de and -ru packs
use Gnome Office insted of Libreoffice
- add Deja Dup
- Easyscan instead of Xsane
- is Yast still necessary?
one more thing: could be Gnome Live CD a testbed for Tumbleweed?
ciao and merci beaucoup
